The Most Important Reason to Be an Internet Marketer

This post is for all the struggling internet marketers.

Don’t give up! The most important reason to be in IM is that you can develop semi-passive income.

Semi-passive income is a term I have coined for the activity of using your brain and effort to create an information product that you sell with an automatic sales system using the internet.

Once you have created the product, your effort drops to a minimal level and you move on to the next project. This can be accomplished on any level. You can start with practically “0” dollars. After you build up some capital you can then outsource tasks to whatever level you are comfortable with.

You are lucky to be at this forum. There is untold value here if you take the time to read and absorb the information with an eye towards building passive income.

Why passive income? It’s really the secret to becoming wealthy. Create PASSIVE income that EXCEEDS your expenses.

There is a world of difference between passive income and earned income. One kills you while the other sets you free.

99% of all people on the planet work for earned income. There is an absolute limit on what they can earn. There are only so many hours in the day. They have no leverage. Their earnings depend 100% on their own efforts.

The passive income workers work to create something once that will pay us for a long time to come without any more involvement in it.

Self-employment is not freedom. Not yet.

FREEDOM is the day that your passive income exceeds your expenses.

It can be a huge shift in your thinking, but if you can focus all of your efforts in IM on creating nothing but passive automatic hands off income from this day forward, you will start to command an hourly rate that most people won’t comprehend.

great post! i am new to IM and i started with "$0" i currently have $4 (LOL) as i said im new to this

 

I like your post in that it motivates people to keep going. a big mistake IM's do is that they expect returns straight off the bat and be lounging at home after 1 month of work!

If you keep growing at that rate you will do well, as that is four times what you started with. Keep at that rate and this year looks promising for you.

 

Yes, passive income is the way to wealth. Most people want to be rich but keep going to a job everyday and then spending their entire paycheck without ever saving some of it or developing passive income streams. yours is a good post because even someone working to pay the bills can start developing passive income in their spare time.

 

Great posting, imo there really is no such thing as passive income, you always have to keep working or your earnings will decrease as things change and new competitors arise.

Great post! I have to say i've been marketing my site for the last 2 days almost non stop and i'm getting a lot of uniques but NO SIGN UPS!! But i'll keep at it, thanks for the inspiration.

 

As I sit here frustrated and tired balancing my child and 2 others plus my hubby - I really can appreciate this posting. I LOVE the internet, marketing, ads, writing articles and everything that "IM"ing entails but it does help to read a positive and focused reminder or something that helps you think just a bit different from time to time.

Funny that, I've posted in this thread before but I don't remember reading it.

Once my exams and studying is over at the end of this month I'll be spending many many hours a day promoting and developing my site. It's inspiriation like this that can keep my eye on the goal.
