Is there anyway or short cut to quickly add [ ] and " " in beginning and end of your existing keyword? Thanks
Yes, go here- http://www.mikes-marketing-tools.com/adwords-wrapper.html Unless you meant while you were inside Adwords.
Can you show me how to do it in excel? Another problem I experienced with excel was when i try to paste "KEYWORD", the " " gone and only the keyword show so I have to retype " "
It's easy as can be, use columns A, B & C for this example Column A row 1 put " or [ Column B rows 1 - ? put your keywords Column C row 1 put " or ] Copy and paste row 1 in columns A & C to line up with column B. Then copy and paste the whole thing (A,B & C all rows) and paste into the keyword box when you're building your campaign. Don't worry about the spaces in between the keywords and the match type characters, Google will ignore and format properly.
use adwords editor... Check my sig for video tutorials on how to use this program... It will make your life 110% easier.
Another way to do it in Excel is to 1) Dump your keywords in column A. 2) In B1, write =""""&A1&"""" for Phrase match, or ="["&A1&"]" 3) Double-click on the small black square in the bottom right corner of the cell to copy it down. Then you can just copy and paste it back again...
