I'm wondering if its a good program. Some of the sites say you pay $0.02 per click which is lower than I've seen anywhere else. Input please?
I do every month and love it. The CPC listed on different sites at AdToll is an estimate of what you will get based on the performance of the ads currently running on the site. Make sure you look at the ad groups CTR. If you think you can get better than that with your ad you can get a better CPC than listed. But if you get a lower CTR your eCPC will be higher.
I was told it is really a wonderful program. But not used yet. I am going to install it in two of my sites- e-petcare.info and doggieinfo.blogspot.com
Kittyluver this thread is about being an advertiser on AdToll not a Publisher. Thanks for your input though. Good luck with your sites.
I used them recently for my site, and i think they have a great system in place, i'll be using them again. -- Phil
They have been up and running since 2004, and they have roughly less than 250,000 monthly hits. I don't know, cousin.... Also, if you check out some of their prices, I would venture to say they are full of shit. I don't know. $1,000 31,347clicks 3.19cents/click $750 22,123clicks 3.39cents/click $500 13,927clicks 3.59cents/click $250 6,596clicks 3.79cents/click $100 2,557clicks 3.91cents/click $50 1,253clicks 3.99cents/click $20 418clicks 4.78cents/click Those prices are usually an indicator to walk away. There is not enough there for both Adtoll and the webmaster who accepts the ads. 3.19 cents a click??? Divide that up between Adtoll and the webmaster??? Many, MANY webmasters will not sell their space for less than 2 cents a click. If they do, the site is more than likely a ghost town, and they will accept just about anything. Those prices should be three times higher than that. Do they have a list of satisfied customers, webmasters you can contact? If not, and if I were a noob, I would use my money elsewhere. Spending $50 here, $20 there....that shit adds up! I would, perhaps, contact John Chow and Shoemoney. They both did impressive work in short time. I'm surprised they didn't write an e-book on how they did it.
Last night I decided to purchase advertisements on 2 sites that Adtoll was offering. I spend $12.80 to have my ad on 2 sites for 7 days. Its been about 16 hours and here are my stats. Impressions: 5800 Clicks: 2 Hoping for a lot more clicks than that.
I don't think so. Many of the sites listed in Adtoll are entertainment related including arcades. I for sure would only pay around the amount they offer or slightly less. I can get traffic and many others can get traffic from Google Adwords for around 4 - 6 cents per click. So I think them prices are fine.
Hi, AdToll has been operating since the summer of last year, actually. Monthly hits, which I gather you obtained from Alexa, have nothing to do with anything, really. Perhaps it means that they have a core group of publishers. There have been many favorable reviews on them. In fact, Shoemoney, who you praise, has endorsed AdToll. Click prices will vary, of course. AdSense specifies that its minimum price is 0.05 a click, but webmasters make more of course. You have the right to your opinion, of course, but some of these facts that you use to back it up are questionable, at best.
My ads convert into Adsense pretty well. Today I had clicks from adwords and adtoll amounting to 6 clicks of those visitors I got 2 adsense clicks which converted to $1.66 in earnings. Im doing ad testing until next Thursday then I will up my ad spending to $200 a week.
You're right, John, but was I talking about that? I must have missed that, Whoop. Were does it state that they started last summer? http://www.adtoll.com/about_us Maybe there was a miscommunication. I don't know. I don't use Alexa. "Favorable reviews"??? So what? Many just assume. I go by facts. Um, shouldn't you? I know. And??? Sorry, but them's the facts. You can question them all you want. It doesn't matter to me. It's not my money being spent. The end results are the, well, results. Unless they are tacking on an additional charge along with those small rates, and that 3-4 cents goes to the webmasters???
Hi everyone, for more information on AdToll please download out 2008 media kit down loadable from http://www.adtoll.com/press Also check out some advertisers spotlights http://blog.adtoll.com/category/advertiser-spotlight/ In regards to run of network prices, the list you pasted here is a pretty general pictext tier 1 campaign. Our targeted campaigns are more expensive. A few examples for PicText includes: 6.49 cents/click - USA targeted 5.49 cents/click - North America 5.49 cents/click - High Income These are for non vertical targeted, which is another 0.5 cents/click (for non Tier 3). Other ad formats are more expensive as well. Perry, these prices are competitive in our market, in fact if they were three times the price, we would be more expensive by far, to our closest competitor. RON prices are reviewed monthly as well. AdToll is geared for publishers to sell sponsored ads, and you can set the price in regards to this. Are we serious, damn straight we are. We believe we have a solid, sustainable solution, and there is nothing more important to us than keeping publisher payments and earnings coming and offering value to our advertisers. Last week our CEO, Dan, was at ade:tech Sydney and we have started to secure relationships with other companys who wish to use our platform, and publishers will see the benefits of this in the coming weeks and months ahead. We also plan on attending ad:tech in Asia and also in the US.
