    Perhaps I'm missing something with this conversion tracking... Isn't that what the "Universal Pixel" is for under "Tools" ? I've received 2 conversions since implementing the "universal pixel", non of which are showing up in adwords.

    aj - any recommendations, what's going on here?

    Here's what I've done - generated the conversion tracking code via Adwords. Took that code placed it in a file: "some-file.php" Then went to Azoogle, Tools, Universal Pixel and pointed that to "www.domain.com/some-file.php" - is that how this works?

    Haven't started using the universal pixel yet - it may just be a place for Azoogle to store your pixel so they don't have to constantly send it to them for each offer? ...in other words its not planted on the merchant conversion page automatically? Not sure...

    I just send my pixels to my AM and he gets them planted usually within minutes on the conversion page... I would suggest going that route.

    Aj, I apologize for sounding so pathetic, but when you say "my pixels", which of the following are you referring to?

    The Adwords Code Block:
    <!-- Google Code for signup Conversion Page -->
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    var google_conversion_id = xxxxxxxxxx;
    var google_conversion_language = "en_US";
    var google_conversion_format = "1";
    var google_conversion_color = "666666";
    if (13.0) {
      var google_conversion_value = 13.0;
    }
    var google_conversion_label = "signup";
    //-->
    </script>
    <script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion.js">
    </script>
    <noscript>
    <img height=1 width=1 border=0 src="http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/xxxxxxxxx/imp.gif?value=13.0&label=signup&script=0">
    </noscript>
    Code (markup):
    Just The 1x1 IMG:
    <img height=1 width=1 border=0 src="http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/xxxxxxxxxx/imp.gif?value=13.0&label=signup&script=0">
    Code (markup):
    Or a File With Adwords Code Block?
    http://www.your-domain.com/some-file.php
    Code (markup):
    Just want to make sure I get this right - thanks again for being so patient :p

    the first thing you quoted is your pixel for adwords

    send that in a text file to your am with the offer #, they take care of the rest

    Going with FlyCell is noob mistake when your doing ringtones. It does not matter if their LP looks awesome,it still converts like s***. Also, there is better converting LP than Dada or Thumbplay for some carriers. You will have to mix your networks. But if your doing banner advertisement,than the costumer will have no choice of picking their carrier and this will convert in loosing traffic.

    Excellent work.
    How did you work your CPC down so much so quickly.

    I am right at that point as well, trying to get my costs down given I am converting pretty well now.

    This is how the stats from that campaign went..

    Opening Max CPC: $0.40

    After 1st or 2nd Adwords update where impressions/clicks start showing up, I dropped the Max CPC to $0.30. A few more hours pass, and I drop to $0.20. A few more hours pass, and by the end of the day I'm down to $0.10, still receiving clicks and impressions.

    Right now, the campaign is @ $0.06 Max CPC and still receiving clicks/impressions. Unfortunately, I've yet to obtain anymore leads :-/ Yesterday I spent $47 to receive $26.50, so I'm still in the negative. I'm eager to see how the campaign performs today at $0.06 max cpc.

    Hope this answered your question.

    Oh, and by the way, not sure how typical this is, but my CTR is a consistent 0.30%-0.38%.

    j0ned,
    How many keywords are you using?
    Do they all relate to ringtones?

    It answered it.
    I am going to try the same thing - just drop the price until profitable or the clicks stop and then build the volume back up.
