college, thanks for entering this. I like the font you use thought that blue is a little faded for my taste and I like something a little more vibrant, perhaps a darker shade of blue. I think the star that you used in the background doesn't "flow" well with the rest of the logo. The stars while very American are also a little out of place. The whole logo would need to be simplified somehow and made to fit better together. This is of course is only my subjective view.

xaralee, you got to tell me where to buy the positive attitude from. I need it sometimes.

I'm off to bed now so I won't be around for a while since it's Easter Sunday when I wake up and besides going to church I also have to take the kids to the grandparents for the chocolate treats. But I will definitely be back.

lefty, thanks for entering this. You're a great designer but these are also a touch too cartoonish. I need something more corporate. Something more elegant and professional looking. Also while they do have an American theme and I prefer an American theme I don't think you've captured that well. I don't know, maybe it's just me but when I see too many stars I think more of election buttons rather than a general American theme. Or maybe the stars seem a little retro... I'm not sure but these logos are not exactly the corporate look I am after.

patricksia, good to see you again. That background you used is great. I am however after a logo and not after a photo. The Statue of Liberty is too much and needs to go. I need an American theme but not an overdone one. Sometimes less is better. I think what you need is to keep that background (the faded flag) and just use a font to fill that rectangle and that could be it. As it is now it's a little too messy and hard to read.

archgames, thanks for giving this a try. Your entry while certainly has an american theme is also too cartoonish for me and I need a more corporate look. The main part of the logo, the emphasys should be on American Grade A Milk and the American theme/feel should be something to complement the logo and not something to overpower it.

Thanks for the quick feedback.
I have darkened the blue and use a somewhat bolder star.
I also did two revision;one with the text over lapping and one with text below the star.

 

xaralee, I need to get some rest I'll be back with more feedback but while it's definitely a step in the right direction and while it does have an American theme it's still only a little step forward compared with the previous entry. You still need to bring in a more American thing because that background flag is a little faded. I'm off to bed now.
