From totad 11.03 all my weights dropped about 3 times less, and revalidating gives 0 point or this 3 times less weight. All my pages are quite old have pr 4 or 3 and 100-300k in google index. Did sth changed??
API was very squirrely yesterday. Do not know about today. Have not checked my keywords. Now is definately not the time to revalidate.

Well you got caught in the mess. I worked most of yesterday trying to clean up my keyword list and kept getting Google Server Error. Did you try another API key? I have a few API keys, i noted that i have a particular API that keep giving me 0 weight. I have some weight after changing my API key. Maybe that particular key is not functioning?
But i use seperate keys for different purposes. Like i will have one for keyword tracker, one each for co-op account etc.
I tried with other API seeing this thread and lost 50% Weight I dont think there is any advantage of changing API
question: i've seen on several ocasions people mention not to revalidate/recalculate so as to not lose weight? I was under the impression that that was only for our information and that the real weight value would be constantly changing? regardless of whether we recalculate or not?
Before seeing this thread I noticed a couple of my sites showing no weight, I revalidated and the weight came back. But after reading this I have checked the stats for impressions and all my sites show a rather significant decrease over the past three weeks although the weight has remained steady. I have quite a few sites in the COOP and if it were only one or two I wouldn't think much of that but it has happened across all my sites. It does look like a weight shift has occured.
Im really not happy myself. I used to have 10k weight just for one of my sites. Now when my PR went up and i have also added two other PR4 sites my weight dropped to 300 or so. The worst thing is that you can just sit there constantly clicking revalidate weight button untill you are happy with it because it will keep on fluctuating. I even switched to link vault but their support was just lame.
man, i'm glad i read this thread. some of my higher-weight sites are at zero with no noticable change in their google status. also, impressions are low.
I guess googles infrastructure changes could be to blame. Even though it should get back to normal soon. If you check the number of indexed pages on different DCs you will get different results. eg 300 indexed pages instead of 30k
I'm getting my weight back today for all of my better sites. Keep validating, and it should come back.
Could Shawn or someone either confirm or deny this? I think if this is the case it could prevent needless validate/revalidate, maybe you wouldn't even need the new server ;p
