How Mean have you been to some one ? Was some one mean to you ? : DP confessions!

I was about 8 Years old, ran home from school and ran in the house. My dad sits there with his friend drinking beer watching football. When he says " Hey J come here" I stopped half way up the stairs and ran back.
He then tells me " I got you a present today" At this point I was excited.
"I got you your Puppy"

I had wanted a puppy for almost 4 Months, and today was that day!
I was so excited I ran to the back of the house grabbed my mom and gave her the biggest hug and thanked her about a zillion times. I then ran back to my dad and he sits on the edge of the couch holding a brand new red leash.
He then proceeds to tell me.

" You ran off so fast, you never let me finish. Jim and I went a long ways to get this puppy. And on the way home we were hungry, so we at it"

If you ever want to watch a kid break down and die, that works very well.

Now that I am grown, I see the humor in that. I have never forgot word for word. Good ending is I got my puppy!

Just wanted to start a topic almost every one can add to and lol about.

i've never been mean to anyone, I'm good angel but

there're few who've been mean to me
but then I just dont store why they're mean to me or what they said (either I dont mind or just dont care since I know all just talks or nonsense or not true)

 

I was mean to someone when I was in high school. But I have matured since then

My Dad Still to this day is a funny man.. I cant wait till I have time to write myblog... my o my.. The stories I will tell..

I guess i've been mean to people, and people mean to me, it's natural.

 

Usually I am not mean to people...and I hate when people behave bad to me and others...I hate that

 

If people are honest they will all say they have been mean to someone in their life. Not proud to say I am in that category. I am a very good person. We all just have an instance in our life where things happen and we act in a way that is not who we really are.

 

aahh, once (very drunk) i grabed the mobile phone and called to one of my friends parent, like 5 in the morning, and told him that is son was in hospital, he had an accident. And the son was right by my side laughing!

When i was going to tell him it was a joke (drunk joke) the mobile phone went dead, no charge.

No phones, no money, no idea where we were, and his parent almost had a stroke.

Learned my lesson.

 

I frequently push elderly people into the street.

 

I was really mean in High School. A bit like the movie Mean Girls, ha ha.

Thankfully I have matured since then.

I am still occasionally mean to people on here, but only in my own little sarcastic way. I love all you netaholics really.

I husband tells me I'm mean all the time.

 

That is not even funny, being a parent, that is the worst thing to do is get a phone call in the middle of the night and say there son was in an accident..
