I'm disgusted- people from pakistan visiting child pornography websites on my proxy

I just checked my logs, and I was shocked to find that people from pakistan and some from iran have been visiting child pornography websites through my proxies


what should I do to stop this? I'm contemplating modifying my scripts to block the sites I want blocked


but I'm also wondering what other measures I can do to stop this?
I didn't want to block a whole country from accessing my proxies
but if this is what I have to do, then this is what I have to do.

 

Block them, you need to stop your server from recording logs because it's you they will come after for child porn. Just find out the domains/IP and block them with the htaccess file.

 

Contact their religious leaders.

 

According to me it would be better to prevent users from accessing those sites .
Block the site urls related to child porn rather than banning users .

 

block the users, nobody wants sick people like that on their sites

 

Geo targeting could work.

 

Let the authorities know and give them access to your hosting, I wonder if they have sytems in place to follow the IPs and computers that are accessing these sites (or even the hosts and websites) - maybe you could assist in providing details to bust these scum bags ....

Yeah I am not quite sure, I wouldn't want you to take the blame for these activities, maybe you'd be held accountable for the actions of others from your site ? but in saying this - is Google liable for searches and activities carried out on their website ? No!!

You may need to contact someone who knows, maybe ask a trusted legal source under confidentiality, I am sure that someone would be able to assist and would like to explore the websites for a possible sting or crack down .... maybe the authorities know of these sources ? but surely there's a way to trace the IPs of the individuals and possibly arrest the sick bastards.

 

I've contacted my host about the matter
hopefully they'll advice me as to what to do

How do you log the sites they go on?

 

Better yet, can't you block your proxy from accessing child porn sites?

 

Put a warning up on your proxy that all visitors using the proxy to visit child pornography and other illegal websites will be reported to their local authorities, and that it's your duty to do so by law.

 

check your server stats, there will be a list of visited sites there

Awww even I will get pissed off.

 

omg some real sick visitors you got there.... there is nothing you can do other then block the IP's or IP range of all child molesters... and you need to do this as soon as possible before you get in trouble.... because it proves you are helping them watch children porn which is very illegal... i remember some site owner went to jail for these types of things... so you have to block then by IP range... even law enforcement agencies will tell you do block there IP range...

 

yea, I've blocked all countries apart from UK, AU, USA and most of the EU
