I'm pretty sure I've been penalized for keyword stuffing. I'm indexed in google but just do not rank anywhere for my keyword. If I lower the density and get a couple of good backlinks will that reverse the affect? I've had the site for about a year, it's an adult site also, it also has a trademark in the name - could that also be a reason? I left the site without updating like this for ages. I rank number 1 in MSN though.
fix the reason and change template / design / structure of the site and than pray and continue with link building
My Dear Friend Definitely you can make sure that keyword density is 5 to 7% so why do you do keyword stuffing. Remove all excess words and also whatever spam you have done in all your internal pages. Secondly as soon as google crawl you site next time and find new content (no spam) you will be free from penalty. One more thing carry on getting backlinks. Cool Mate and Enjoy your day.

just remove what you think that you have done something against google terms. usually want we thought we have done something wrong usually we are correct.
