Established Tutorial Website For Sell

I am selling one of my best website. This is a tutorial index + tutorial website. I developed it back in December 2006. Since then I kept developing website.

Website was written in PHP 5 using best Object Oriented Practices and uses MySQL as database. Its completely DIV and CSS based. Apart from this, it uses web 2.0 javascript i.e. Prototype and Script Aculous. Mod-rewrite is also used to make URL search engine friendly. I coded the website from scratch. Site has very clean Object Oriented Code, with separate template files, so any programmer can made changes to code very easily.

Website has basically four modules/sections. All the Sections except resources section have their RSS Feeds as well.

1- Tutorials
This is main feature of the website, tutorial website owner’s submit their tutorial to this website, right now site have above 1600 active tutorials.

This is where I write my articles and tutorials on Photoshop and Javascript.

In this section, users submit various resources like wordpress themes, code snippets templates etc.

Site also has a blog which is using Wordpress, I have also coded custom template for blog to match the website’s theme. I also integrated the wordpress in the website.

Affiliates
You can exchange links with other related sites using this section. It tracks incoming and outgoing hits.

Users can submit tutorials/resources here.

Developer Section
This section contains complete documentation, example codes on how to use website’s APIs and webservices.

Site has many features and going very good, then why I am selling it? Simple answer is;
I need money.


Revenue Details:
I never tried to monetize the website. I never changed the adsense code that I inserted while developing website. You can see ads on very few places on website

I sold paragraphs on articles written by me at

Each paragraph costs about $30-$70.

Apart from this, I never tried to earn money with this site. So please don't apply the traditional monthly revenue *12 formula and underestimate my efforts.

Traffic Details:
Site gets most traffic from Google and StumbleUpon. Site is listed on 37th position on Google of search term “Photoshop Tutorials”.

Due to good fan base on StumbleUpon, I can help you promote your contents on stumbleupon even after sale.

Site currently gets 700-1000 unique hits per day. I changed the servers in the end of January so I don’t have data before February 2008. Due to server change, I lost some traffic.
