The prices are all down too two factors:

    Your costs and your audience.

Take us for example, we offer high quality customer service and after sales service. Therefore we do not aim for the audience who want everything at cost price.

Compare us to another web host who offers web hosting at cost prices or that oversells. If you ask to speak to them over the phone, they are more likely to refuse as they may not even have one. Whereas we would phone you, rather than you phoning us.

It's little things like this that matter to your end client.

I do think if you make your customer feel great, the price should not be a problem, :)

also if you still think it is a problem, just have a try for first times, then you will get your own ideas and do not tell other

    LOL

It might be a good idea to keep your prices low while you attract your audience and build a reputation for yourself.

Its all down to reputation and demand. If you are well established then you can charge a lot, if your not you can only charge what the customer is willing to pay. It's no good waiting for the work to come in whilst watching the bills mount up. Better to charge less and be working and building reputation and experience.

I'd say 100 - 200 per project. If you were to add banner graphics along with your webpages you might be able
to pull in 500 per project depending on your graphics designing.

    Just my 2 cents ;)

The supply and demand is an essential part of todays market and it is one of the things that's driving the prices for particular services.

Take a look at what your competitors are charging for such services, investigate what consumers look for and how much money they are willing to pay for it.

Find a reputable company and do some work for it for a low price or even for free. Allow your customers to talk about you and their customers to speak about you.

Make a special offer oriented towards companies that will allow you to display your portfolio of services on their blogs/sites and then do some work for the free of charge.

If you create quality stuff and your customers are happy with your work the buzz will spread around and you will establish a group of loyal customers who will do the marketing for you. You will then have the chance to set a price that you like and you will have the right to do it as an established, trustworthy and professional designer and SEO expert.

Apart from that you can have a special portfolio page on a website or a blog and start promoting it via social bookmarking sites/forums and social networks. You can even get a squidoo page made promoting you services. You have plenty of options ahead of you. Just explore and leverage some of them the rest is up to you and your working skill. Good luck!

I'd say around $100-$200. If your work is of good quality it will speak for itself and you can charge more :D

All depends on quality of work. A blog design can cost 50$. And there are designs which can cost thousands of dollars.
