I thought it might be usefull to start a thread for a list of companies with the absolute worst customer service. That way other DP members can read this thread and know which companies to stay away from on the internet. I will start it off *Widgetbucks *Gamescript.net Stay away from these guys if you want customer service!
Maybe we can all give the reasons instead of just naming them or this thread will soon become a flaming thread.
@Home, my internet ISP.. when I called them because I didn't have the install disk they told me to ask my neighbors for one. Microsoft's customer support is weird too, I once called them because my legit serial number wasn't working after I formatted and they just gave me a code to activate it without asking for proof that the serial was legit. Not the best way to prevent piracy..
Totally agree govt companies tend to have those voice phone with options 1-99 where you listen and press accordingly, by the time you manage to get the correct department you will just get a busy tone

Does not need to be in India, in USA, in Europe, in Australia, where ever you are, as long as it is govt owned you will have the same situation.
It's strange. May people have different experiences with the various companies / sites. Personally, I have always found gamescript.net to be nothing but helpful. A little slow sometimes but nonetheless, always helpful, so I wouldn't put them in the category of 'worst'. Again, I've always found Paypal to be helpful although I appreciate this doesn't always appear to be the case judging on some of the horror stories I've read (so don't lynch me ).
