    hello guys

    can i submit an article which not talk about gaming, and put my website (a game site ) address into resource box?

    i mean article and website with different subject

    Actually you are supposed to quote the related url of the website in the resource box while submitting the articles to directories. That is the meaning of "resource". Hence you can't write an article on some thing else and quote the game site in the resource box. Is it clear?

    Look like you want to get traffic from none gaming subject directory.
    yes, you can as long as not from illegal directory or adult directory but adulu directory is allowed

    You can place the link but whats the point :confused:

    People clicking your resource link will be expecting your site to be relevant to the content of your article and when they find out it isn't they will leave your site in just a few seconds .

    So my advice is to write articles related to your site so that you get targeted traffic :)

    Its better to have the articles on same topic as of your site. And also use your main keywords in the article. That way the links from that article page will worth a bit more.

    Anyway, you can put your links in article that are off topic. I have few articles on topics that are not related to my site, but I have used them to build few back links for my site.

    You can place your link where ever you want but quality matters in long run. Quality majors many things, in sort try to get links from similar niche sites.
