Is Google kicking my ass?

I've got a website that has been the top google result for a particular phrase for 6 months+.

This week though it completely dissapeared from the google search results, I can't even find it 10 pages back!

Now a couple of weeks ago for the first time I purchased a social networking submission service here on DP just to see what would happen.

Could the 2 events linked?

 

I'll be damned if I'm a psychic. Any chance you could telepathically let us all know the url?

Don't panic and don't go changing your site just yet.
These things happen with Google and your site could well return to its previous position it a few days.

It's quite possible they are kicking your ass. G is getting more and more sensitive to linking schemes and they always like to keep you guessing.

 

It happens to one of my sites, too. I did not do anything with the site at all. It's a one year old site, but with very few back links.

 

This just happened to my site too as of about 1 week ago. If anything changes for you or you find out what happened please let me know.

 

This also happened to a few of my sites about a week ago. If anyone sees their ranking back to normal let us know.

Google has been acting crazy lately, this has happened to me as well
but I'm not concerned about it.

 

Seprs do change, very soon they will return to normal place.

If you were ranking high, why the need of that? Why didn't you invested that $$$ in another marketing strategie? A "clean" one?

 

G is just starting to get fked up. Wait until Yahoo and Microsoft merge they gonna sell it. G thought changing and scuking their algorithms will keep their internet monopoly, i bet their wrong.

As said above these things happen and you should wait a couple of days till everything is back to normal.

Glad to see everything is ok now. One of my sites also disappeared from SERPs, and i'm waiting for Google to "correct" its judgement.

 

My site has disappeared since yesterday who knows what Google is doing. I was 3rd for "naked dress up games" , now im nowhere damn it!
