How to "boost" your CTR?

question of the day and days

there is no definite answer for it, but i'm going go ahead and ask for your tips and/or tricks or suggestions overall how to "boost" CTR

I have a site with about 4-5K impressions daily and 0.5% CTR, back in the days CTR could reach 3-4% on daily and i was very happy then slowly but surely it went down to about 1% and I still was ok with earning, but last few month, it's below 1%, i dont even get 0.5% all the time, today is monday, supposedly a good day, yet my CTR is 0.41, total income is $1.99, this is insane! drives me nutz!:confused::eek:

so if anyone can help me i'd hilghly appreciate that

oh yeah, most about ~85% of traffic on my site is U.S.

I only found one image ad on your page and that also very deep down at the bottom. Use atleast 2 ad units where you think your visitors spend most of the time reading your content . Also ad link units as they have high CTR . Blend them well and this will help to increase your CTR

So it is a proxy . You need not to worry much about this one . Try getting more traffic .

One suggestion is to remove on of those ad units and replace it with some text / article ( with targeted keywords ) that fits well and the ads blended into the text .This will increase CTR as well . You can play with different ad positions and then you will come to know which one brings you higher CTR :)

Really?? The ads are looking so well blended in. It seems as though you must have a ctr of more than 5%.

Use the medium rectangle and large rectangle ad formats which are considered better performers at vantage points and blend them suitably with the contents :)

Something that others haven't mentioned is who is actually advertising that is ending up on your page. If the advertisers have actually changed significantly then most likely that could have something to do with it. Look at your traffic, are you getting more traffic that isn't as targeted?

Well, improve your placement and/or ad blending. Those would be my two suggestions. Or, maybe it's time to look for a new source of income for your site?

some sites just dont do very well for adsense. i have site that gets 35% CTR and also i have site that gets less than 1% CTR which is NOT a proxy site. different audience has different feel for adsense ads, thats just the nature of the traffic

You have only one sentence of content. Your Adsense ads are about proxy servers and surfing. Why would your visitors click on ads instead of typing in their address of the web site they want to go to? It's actually surprising that your CTR is as high as it is. Must be accidental clicks. There's really not much you can do to a proxy site to improve it.
