Will eBay keep their RSS feed 'affiliate friendly'?

I know that eBay will keep the API going, but does anyone know if they're planning on keeping their rss/affiliate feed alive?
Will it just be a matter of getting a new numerical identifier and using that instead of our old CJ PIDs?

Will those of us that "roll our own" using the RSS feed be forced to write new scripts (using the API)? Or will we simply need to replace our old PIDs with a shiny new eBay magic number?

I'd like an idea of exactly how much work I'm going to need to do on April 1st...
GTech? Kelvin? Can your shed some light on this?

    Hi Kerosene,

The RSS feed will remain operative so you won't need to switch to API.

It was my first question. :)

That's a relief! Although I use the API on a few sites, I still prefer to work with the ye olde RSS feed. Thanks Kelvin :)

Thank you for answering the one question that has been bugging me all day.
