I think i will share some of my experience in making traffic for your web site ... so here it is. (This is a coppied post i have made on my own forum.... I really hope it is useful.) It seems like we are forever searching for better ways to improve our website traffic and share it with as many people as we can find. A website is all about traffic. A website forum blog or whatever without traffic is worth nothing. So here is one of the great ways i have found to get traffic to your site: linkreferral.com, autoclick.110mb.com, trafficg.com these sites are a members directory traffic site. By joining, you will be included in they’re members directory which is visited by allot of members, and thousands of outside visitors on a daily basis. You'll have the opportunity to earn a ranking at the top of your category, absolutely free! Receive valuable feedback from visitors of your website, network with your peers, and give your opinion on other websites in the directory. The more you participate, the more you get in return! This means that in 30 minutes of browsing and visiting other peoples websites your own website rank up and other people will visit it. And within an hour or two you will get tens of visitors. This is not much but its a great way to start and get your website noticed. Also they have a forum on witch you can advertise and engage in talks with other members and maybe try to convince them to go to your site or join your forum or blog community, thus going towards a successful and maybe money making website. Most of the traffic u earn from this sites i worth almost nothing but somethimes you find someone inthrested in your website.
Be careful - this sort of traffic is pretty much useless and is against adsense TOS for sure and more than likely most other CPC/CPM advertisers TOS.
Yeah alot of people have adsense on their sites and wouldn't want to risk it. If your just aiming for members to your site I guess it would be ok.
Any sudden spike in the traffic, paid and useless traffic is always against adsense TOS. The goal should be quality, targeted and permanent traffic. It takes a long time and hard work to achieve. Write good, original contents and frequently update your site. Submit your site to various directories and articles to article directories and get the much needed backlinks. Do the SEO work and participate regularly in forums and leave your signature. It is a long way to go but hard and smart work is the key to success. Cheers
