Do you use "accelerated" or "standard" as your delivery method?

Well, evidently we are sending them to some kind of cat food landing page, but this particular kind of ad copy would target correctly even if the landing has nothing to do with "buying cat food"?

 

i really don't know how to lay it out better then i already have without giving more things away... i know its vague but at this point you really just need to take what i've given and put your own spin on it. i tested hundreds of different combinations of stuff.... just don't go strictly by my example cause there is stuff missing.

 

Why does everybody keep on mentioning the cat food landing page. That was just a weird example.

 

i think people are using the example metaphorically.

but for those who aren't:

it was a spur of the moment first thing that came to my mind. it obviously wouldn't work.

 

Well I understand how everything works, its just the targetting is whats getting me. I ran this particular style of marketing last week and did get a few conversions, but my targetting was off. Instead of hitting 1/80 or better, it was more like 1/150 or something . I was running out of "testing" money so I had to stop my campaign adgroups - note that I didnt get my CPC low enough yet either.

Thats when that "buying state of mind" statement popped into my head. Thanks AJ, I'm gonna shoot this up again and go another round.

 

Last week was also a weird week for conversions, i was around the 1:120-150 on some days.

 

great achievement. I will try to get to that point also. Experiences like that is what I need to keep going =)

The formula is not too important, getting people to click is not hard, the actual hard part is actually finding the right target niche who will convert at a whim...

 

You're right; however, I believe if I were able to find just one worth-while niche, and actually receive a ROI, the worst would be over. From then on, clear skies up ahead.

 

Yeah, I'm with you guys, converting at around 1/120 or 1/150, making it really tough to actually profit. I've run for 5 days and had one day in the black. Even with super low cpc, it can be tough.

 

Hey AJ would doing this with regular ringtone keywords work? i got my huge keyword list that converts good but can you do this for ringtone type keywords? there not really ringtone keywords at all actually but in a way they can be associate with ringtones.

 

definetly, target artists. i used to do it direct to ringtones lp, i was breaking even, never really went back to it.

I know this will be a cakewalk for you but for those of us who won't be #1000 and want to make 50 bucks a day with a 100% ROI... can you offer a blueprint/cheat sheet?
Basically, since you've got this game down to a science, if you weren't using the current method that you're using, what PPC-->CPA system would you use to make 50 dollars a day?

I know you're laughing at how simple this is to you. But its a battle getting there.

fixnow, he said in his first post that it took him 3 years to get where he is today. He knows it's a battle getting there, and he's been MORE than generous with what he's already said in this thread. If what's already here isn't enough for you, then affiliate marketing is not for you, because affiliate marketing is tough.

If it were so easy to make a lot of money doing affiliate marketing...well, everybody would be doing it and nobody would make any money doing it.

 

Exactly.. I've been working on several techniques, non of which have proved successful, yet. It's all about using the info in this thread and putting YOUR twist on it to "complete" the "secret" steps. Eventually YOUR twist will end up working, or so I hope Hopefully this next site I've been working on will actually produce some CLICKS. My last campaigns received close to 100,000 impressions with 3-5 clicks..
