I have a bluetooth website (in sig) thats finally has gotten ranked in yahoo and msn and a little bit in google. I've been doing link exchanges for a while and continue to do so. I also write an some articles for a site where i get decent referral traffic. What are other methods to increase traffic to my site?

    and what would u do?

Well, so far you have been doing good. The ones you are now using to promote your site are the mojor traffic builders. They are very useful. Aside from writing and link exchanges, you could also try to post and promote your site in forums as this one.

traffic exhanges don't help much. i'd rather do away with them. reason is those who use traffic exchanges are mostly intersted in getting credits only.

Have you considered writing articles and submitting to some of the better article directories?

Possibly doing a small informational ebook about your subject and actually giving it away... just some random thoughts. I personally have not gotten that far but the person I work with seems to have very good luck at it.

Keep us posted on what works for you

That is a very good website. I suggest joining on social networking websites like MySpace, Twitter and Digg. Twitter and Digg can bring you good amount of traffic considering your content. Also you can try generating RSS feeds in Feedburner.com so people can subscribe to your articles. You can try making press releases in free press release websites so your site gains more publicity. Another way is to make little flyers and give it away in your neighborhood.

That is good idea from airabongco. Do social bookmarking for your site. that will help you to get more traffic in your site. Thanks.
