I applied for godaddy affiliate program via cj but they declined my application. I run webmaster, domain and hosting related sites so there are chances i can get some signup's Do they check what type of site is applying or do they automatically decline applications?
Where are you from? If outside USA, that is probably the reason. If within USA, then it goes to show Godaddy sucks, what else?
I'm outside of USA ... but GoDaddy approved me ! ... I think i applied two times ... first time i was declined ...
well, i dont think its a big loss for you. i signed up with godaddy thru cj and they pay lot less commission than any other hosts. why not sign up wtih some other hosts that pays you more? there are lots of them under cj
just send an (email) message from cj mail box describing your site & other details then they review site &approve you in 20-30 days
I agree. I heard some bad stories of hosting with Godaddy. The other hosts (Bluehost, HostGator, etc.) pay rather well.
Forget about godaddy, frankly to say I didn't even see their banners on aff sites, speaks for itself probably
i myself cut them loose and don;t like their program. they pay $50 per signup if you sign up directly with them but pays $100 per signup if you sign up under CJ, that tells something. besides, its just too much credits and adjustments which is unusually higher than any other hosts i promote. godaddy itself is not a bad host actually. i still have few sites i;m hosting with them and have been using them for past few years with no issues. its just that they are good host for beginers and they are cheap due to limited options they provide. if you are just looking to host a plain html site, then they are fine. but anything advanced is not good with godaddy.
You can directly send godaddy email on CJ interface and ask about join, normally they will agree at last. At lease they will let you know why they decline you. Btw, the godaddy shopping cart really chacklechackles like KFC
yeah i'll try this method. But for now i'm promoting hostgator and some hosting programs. So next time i get rejected i'll try the above methods.
