A short and simple question regarding privacy policy..

    Hi, I have a short question regarding privacy policy. Can I use my own language in writing my privacy policy, or should it be in english?

    Because my readers are not english, so I think I should write the policy in my own language. Am I right?

    You can always have a translated version separately for your non-english visitors.

    You can not write the main Poilcy in other language,. And you can make more copy of the original policy in other language of your visitors of course.

    as long as google can read, i think thats fine. and google knows how to read english so doing it in english will make google happy. most people put the privacy policy in the footer and 99% of the visitos dont read them anyways.

    If you need a sample of Privacy Policy, you can grab it HERE. I took it from someone in DP, but i forget where it is now. So, it is OK to copy or refer.

    If english is not the native language of your website then i dont think it requires an english version too, only place it in the language of your website, unless of course its a multilingual website.
