There are plenty of hosting plans around providing unlimited sub-domains. In fact, many hosting companies now provide hosting plan for unlimited domains hosting. Choosing unlimited domains and sub-domains hosting will be good choice.

Yeah, I've heard good things about Hostgater. I personally host at Bluehost.com and haven't had any problems with them. I've been with them for about a year and have about ten domains.

Do you want Unlimited? or Wildcard?

Wildcard subdomains lets you handle ANYSub.yourdomain.com w/o having to set it up in the control panel, via your htaccess or php files. Sites that let each user to be able to use TheirUsername.yourdomain.com are set up this way.

For wildcard domains to work you need your own IP address.

i use dreamhost, never had problems, with promo i paid 22$ in september for the first year (90$ discount), with unlimited domains and too much space and bandwitdth that i will never use.

Sure is that dreamhost, hostgator and other similar hosting companies oversell a lot, but for small to medium sites they are great.

Anyway to set each new subdomain you have to use control pannel.

You can try bluehost or hostgator, both of them are good companies. Remember to get coupon code before you signup with them.
