What are the eNom points about? I have to pay $199 just to be able to register domains for $9.95?

    Godaddy - 1
    Namecheap - 2
    Namespro.ca - 1

They all accept Paypal which was an important factor for me when choosing a registrar. Godaddy was the first that I used, although I like Namecheap better, so I'll be transferring my Godaddy domain there soon. After looking around at other reviews and at pricing, Namespro.ca seemed to be the best registrar for .ca domains. I've dealt with both Namecheap's and Namespro.ca's customer support and both have been pretty good.

I use Dotster. I tried Godaddy but their telemarketers drove me crazy. Paying 15 dollars for a domain is an insignificant expense for a successful business. All I care about is that it works and they don't hassle me.

I like eNom - $7.95 per domain and real-time DNS changes - very good support too.

For eNom, they really cater to resellers. If you spend something like $2000 upfront then you get the cheapest possible prices. Most people don't do this, they instead become a reseller of a reseller. Usually an $8.95 reseller account is what you get when you go with a good reseller of eNom.

I think NameCheap is now going to do reseller accounts, so it may be a better deal to go with NameCheap.

For the cheapest possible domain names if you want to be a reseller, DirectI is #1, eNom is more expensive but they have better service.

They actually have this option that you can click to bypass all of that. I think it says "I'm a pro user" or something to that effect.

All I use them for is registering and managing domain names. They're cheap and easy and take Paypal. I had heard that their hosting sucks (from many sources) and so looked elsewhere for that. I'm with Cyberwurx for one site and am looking at Linksky for another.

Someone mentioned that they had telemarketers calling them. I must be lucky because I've only received one call and that was when one of my domains expired. I do admit though that they like to send email. Oh well every company has their thing.

Just too many choices. I think I’m going to star using Godady to by my domain names but not sure if I should also host with them.
