How many people do you think make a "GOOD" living with adsense ads??

How many do you all think there is really? Im just curious, because I live the pipe dream of being an internet rich guy someday too. If I could just reach Joel Comm status ya know...pay my mortgage, boat and on and on.

The bad part is...Not many reached that without working hard. :/

Also, a lot of guys started way back in the golden ages... the nineties, early 2000. Had you made a website back then, chances are it would have grown into something good today.

 

i could live comfortably on my adsense earnings...in mexico, south africa, brazil , but would really like to make 4 times as much, too bad over the last 4 months my earnings have stayed the same although traffic and total clicks are up 20-30%.

 

DIVERSIFY!
I could easily live on my overall online earnings, but my Adsense-only earnings would hardly cover my mortgage. by diversifying and having additional income streams you stand a much better chance at firing your boss and buying that boat..

 

Well if you are working full time dedicated for online then u can think of making living out of it.
The time we spend for content development,the quality of content and optimization makes a difference.

I don't think that so many people are surviving with adsence money only.
At least in the begining it will be an extra income and knowledge gaining process.

 

there are hundreds of thousands of people supporting themselves from adsense. Entire businesses are run on it.

 

I'm not an expert in the SEO sphere but I guess that there're a few people who earn thousands due to adsense ads. It's a kind of a little earning fo the majority. I don't think you can comfortably live just due to adsense ads. But it depends on your needs.

 

I am sure a thousand publishers and website owners are doing very well, and even a lot more with decent earnings. We can do it surely, if others can right?

I would say only a handfull. They mainly actually use multiple sources of income. It would be really, really hard to just rely on adsense.

 

it seems that alot of webmasters start out with adsense then eventually move on to trying other ppc or affiliate marketing but alot of them do make even a thousand a day from adsense

it is definitely possible for some people to earn on adsense. probably about 0.1% of the world's population? sorry i dont have stats to show

but for majority, adsense is just like a passive income

I don't think there are hundreds of thousands publishers who make really good amount of money from adsense alone. But I believe there are hundreds of thousands publishers who supporting their lives through online earning in general (so not only from adsense)

 

When you have a 20k page site with 100's of different categories constantly being updated, what would work better than adsense?

No other network has made contextual ads that are as relavent and as well paying as google without being spammy and placing links in your content.

When your site has a defineable niche it makes more sense to do private ads and affiliate offers, when you have tons of unrelated pages on one site, you don't have much of a choice unless you are willing to put in immense amounts of work.
