At School everytime i try and access a proxy the majority of them are blocked, i find one every so often which works but i'm limited in what i can do. Can anybody give me a list of proxys which allow you to use the site you wish to access the same way it normally functions.. i googled it to see what it is, i need to download it or somethin'.. Which i can, but when i actually install the thing it will tell me you do not have permission etc.. Unless, you mean somethin' different?
You just have to untick one of the boxes on the proxy to make everything work.. if you are using phproxy, untick 'remove scripts' and everything will work just fine. You can find lots of proxies to use at http://www.proxysitelist.info - the red ones are my own phproxies and I've modified them to work without the need to untick the box on your part. i have proxy before (install on my domain) but temporarily disabled due to bandwidth usage are high i always use proxy-dot-org
If you want one that functions well, look for "Powered by Glype" in the bottom. I'd say that is the best script out there so it should work well with most sites. There is a list of glype proxies on the glype site. Or just search around and try to find some other glype ones. CGIProxy ones will work well also, probably won't find as many sites running this though. Hopefully you can find one that isn't blocked!
Some schools block sites that have the proxy scripts on them. They are getting smarter than you think!
