This is intended for having a list to have a better DP.
What you dislike about DP? Lets make a list for Shawn We have to keep him busy.

 

I think he's busy enough already. I get tired of mentioning the same thing over and over again, but scammers are my pet hate.
I find the high number of scamming scummers here alarming in the extreme. Unfortunately DP is becoming a target for scammers because they know they'll get an easy ride because the moderators don't get involved in personal disputes.

 

I dont like i get infractions when i post invites to piqq.us or stumbleudon. This is not just a ref link, there is no way to get in than a invitation, and i don't like that you are not allowed to bump your thread, but you are allowed to say, hey to get what you need please put here "Pm me information please"....

 

Moderator gimme Infraction for very old thread..

 

Only thing what I dont like is those stumble/digg threads are banned now, there could be own sub forum for those threads.

 

I've not found anything bad at DP yet as I m new here.

Bad thing is I am addicted to Digital point forums. What about you?

 

The only thing i dont like that we cant change the ITrader given by us to other members.

1 Member gave me negative ITrader saying that his domain nameserver dint changed even after 2 hours i repeatedly said him that this time is taken by Godaddy then too he said "no its your hosting account fault" i rejected message i thought it may get corrected after few hours but till then he gave me negative ITrader i messaged to him about changing it but he dont reply now .

Secondly i gave an positive ITrader to one of my hosting client as soon as he paid but after few hours he made a chargeback and he got positive ITrader and money also back.

This is the only thing i dont like other all AWESOME

Well the only thing I dislike so far are the scammers.

This list has been done before. Biggest grip now is the whiners that complain about everything from getting banned on Adsense for breaking the rules to being scammed by a brand new member with no history, rep, or iTrader.

I also would like the rules of the forum to be posted all in one place instead of stickies all over the forum. A consolidated list would help everyone. Lately, the changes have been good but if you do not read stickies everyday, you end up with infractions. Of course, it depends on who the mod is rather they give an infraction or ignore the offense.

Stupid threads/.questions like the well known PR threads / How to make x money / Etc etc

Recently there is a huge drop in quality posts. I personally learned most of my marketing techniques here at DP. Now when I go the marketing forum I see all the junks. Yes I agree, spammers are the problem.

 

Scammers are definitely becoming a problem. I'm a member of quite a few forums, and the word is out that DP is the breeding ground and target for the common scammer. There are many negative opinions being casted on DP due to these scammers. I believe if DP took a step to come up with some kind of solution to ridding the forum of the scammers, it would grow in so many ways. The ad revenue would grow, People would feel safe doing business here, Eventually the word would get out that not only is DP a great place to make some money, its all so free of scammers.

I'm not sure how this could be done, I'm sure that is the biggest obstacle, is HOW. Perhaps some kind of identity verification system, when signing up, and if a member is found guilty of scamming, by a mod, Report them to authorities and let them deal with it. I dont think anything will be completely perfect a good scammer will find a way around some of these things. But it will at least weed some of them out and make them think twice to scamming another member.
