It seems since the last update every ad goes to pending review which used to be only part of the time, and they were pretty quick to approve them, but now if every ad is going to pending it's almost useless as some of the stuff is still pending since last week.

Be patient, they will fix it. I have had the same problems before.

Yeah, it takes a few days before they approve the ads, which is very long already ... not usefull when you really need that extra touch up urgently ...

My ad's status is Approved, but although they estimate a big traffic volume for the keywords in that ad group, it has 0 impressions and it's been 2 days already. How long does it usually take for content network ads to go live?

I'm not suprised because it's almost impossible for publishers to get into YSM these days so that could account for a lack of places for them to display ads. The publisher program has been in Beta for years now and I don't see anywhere near as many Yahoo sponsored ads on bogs/sites as I do see Google ads.

Honestly, I've used Yahoo Search in the past and the best thing I could say is that if you're advertising "time sensitive" ads that you need out quick, either use a few different programs and just deal with the lag in Yahoo.

it took me exactly 2 weeks to get a campaign approved. took me 3 calls to Y! and everyone told me they were gonna expedite. they have very good customer service but terrible response time. besides, they need to do something about the bot hits with 100% bounce rate.

I'm not from US, so an international call would cost me close to my daily campaign limit... They should really improve their services if they wish to stand a chance against Google.

Have you looked into using skype?

If you are planning on doing significant ppc with them I think you will need find a way to call them up.

That being said... to avoid the whole manual editorial process, identify which of the keywords and phrases you are using are triggering it. Also note that specific sectors may be triggering the process, in which case maybe you should work on another sector.

I've used the word "Increase" in the title of the ad, but it wasn't related to enhancement pills or anything of the like...Maybe that's the problem.

I've got exactly the same problem as Dwaighty. Ads approved as of yesterday but no hits showing. Very frustrating.

Posted by Sultanofseo on another thread: "Y! updates their stats once a day, so you might not even see your ads running by looking at the stats. go to the admin area and see how much they are charging you, if you see your balance is less than what you started with then your ads are being served and you will see theimpresions and clicks at the end of the day"
