How to gain traffic to a online game/ arcade site?

Hi

I just launched a new arcade site: Online Games
I has about 800 visitors a day now,
- I stumble,digg,onlywire all of my new posts/games.
- I have built about 7000 back links
- I have become a member of different banner exchanges (see site)
- the site is well indexed in Google
- I updated the site almost every day with fresh content

What more can I do? I really only need traffic and returning users...

I think i saw a guide to how to gain traffic to arcade site, but i cant find it..

So does anyone give me some ideas how to gain more traffic?

 

I have found topsites to be a great way of getting traffic and also helping with SEO.

Go on Google and type in "Gaming Topsites" and join up to a few you see there

Be aware that if you join topsites you do need to add a small snippet of code to your site which the topsites give you.

Took a look at the site...am I reading it correctly you have 34 games? If so you're going to need to add more if you want to attract returning visitors. I don't think there is a "magic number", but at least several hundred.

 

Thanks for the tips guys I have a RSS feed on my site, and as i say in my first post, the site is brand new and I add fresh content every day.. so the number of games listed will get alot larger...

If any one has other views..please feel free to tell me..

 

I add new games every day also but you want to have a good amount of content when you start to have them come back right off the bat. Right now you it will be like half a year before you have enough content to get a good number of return users.

 

Your site is brand new... you should wait 6 month to 1 year before to earn something with your site. But, do not worry, your site is pretty good and when it will be time, you will have a good return with it.

About Banners exchange, Top sites... I never add one on my site and today, I have 15.000 UV daily. I advice you to clean your right column.

BTW, which script do you use ?

I really think you need more games.. a lot more

 

Wait for the site to be a bit older. I think that the site is not ranking that well in google right now. Wait a few months and you will see lots of traffic.

The ads on the right side are very distracting. You may want to network to the right people to get it marketed too.

 

Okey.... Do you have any good refs on where to get a good network "connection"? I have moved the extreme banners to the far bottom of the site..

 

Have you taken a look at the popular scripts style ?
I mean ad placements and links exchange sections... ?
I personally like onarcade and gamescript as layout
