I was wondering if parked domains will ever reach the top 10 results in Google for a keyword that's the domain name itself? The keyword is not competitve and search results are only 138k and can you actually do SEO for a parked domain and how to do it? Thanks for your feedbacks
I've had some of my own domains get in the top 10 while parked at Sedo. There was only around 20k results for the term though, and it went down again about a week later. Like normal SEO, it's good to get some backlinks, but don't spend hours doing social bookmarking or directory submissions: a link from a forum or normal website will do fine. It is very rare that a parked domain will get in the top 10, but sometimes there are special parking websites that provide or allow you to put content on your parked domain. I've heard those do pretty well.
Thanks for the feedback. Can you please give examples of parking websites that do let you add content?
No - I don't think that's possible. One of my website de-index for all my keywords once I put a parked page on it.
http://www.fka200.com/domain-parking "Parked" allows you to put up your own content. And those who are saying it is not possible obviously don't know better (NO OFFENSE). You can take a random keyword dfkgfjsdfklsdjfdksljf and have it rank for itself without any SEO. If you're trying to get into the top ranks for competitive keywords it is "almost" impossible to rank without SEO AND a parked page... Profiting with parking pages requires traffic. If you don't get some type-in and don't think you can rank for your keywords... maybe it's not worth it for you? I personally would buy it if I see a profit.
