I have linked from my site A to my site B and now for a certain reason I need to link back from B to A as well. I will do this using a banner and will put the nofollow tag on it. Will I be OK then? - I mean if I just put the nofollow tag. Or Google does follow links even if they are nofollow? For my confidence, I consider linking the banner to my other site using tinyurl.com
It really sucks that Google is making everyone so paranoid about this. In my opinion if you are linking to your own website using the nofollow tag and your link has a purpose other than a "backlink" you should be fine. I do it all the time if I have a related website with more information on a specific related subject and haven't inured any type of penalty.
