I need help gaining traffic!!

Can I have some help on how to promoted my new website, arewebored . com, and how to gain good amount of traffic, all users who reply will recieve rep from me

I think the best way to get a arcade going is to have unique games developed under your name. In return, you can submit those to other popular arcades such as addicting-games.com. They should send you quite a bit of traffic, but there will be some upfront investment required to get the game created and submitted.

bookmarking it in social bookmarking sites is a very good way to get more traffic to your site ... you can try sites like digg or my personal favorite is stumbleupon.com. You can just go to stumbleupon.com and make an account and install a tool bar for your browser so you can bookmark sites real easy and fast. Just bookmark some of your pages. good luck

 

You should try promoting it on social networks since it seems to be aimed at people who already spend a lot of time online.

 

belive me social network advertising dosent work any more ... you will be lucky if you get 1 clik from them ... i tryed this alot and it was a waist of my time.

I just checked out your website...pretty cool. Def. the social networking sites would be the way to go. If you want a lot of traffic fast and have some extra cash, google adwords should do the job too.

I added your page to my Stumble account and I have many people that view my page on a daily basis. That should generate some free traffic for you.

I do not think dark is a good background for a flash game site.Besides,the google adsense on the left side is too big and ugly.And the speed of opening your site is a bit slow at my end.And your site do not have much content "Autos(0) Comedy(2) Sports(1) Music(0) Education(0) News(0) " this can things can not bring your site great traffic.So i would suggest you add more content to your site firstly.Thank you for your REP.

There's this guy, called CanadienEH, he's got a link in his signature. That's a very good list of free directories. It will work in long term helping you gain high PR.

Then, how about word of mouth? Have yourself a simple form to allow visitors signing up for a newsletter. Send it out twice a month with news and updates. I, personally, still believe in "send to friend" forms. These have worked well on some of my own sites.

 

I like your domain namelook into finding game related forums with high traffic and join the community. You'll receive targeted traffic with your signature link.

 

Submit site to social bookmakrs and directories. I would make free blog and write about site and add url to each post and submit blog to rss feeds.

 

well.. social bookmarking doesn't and didn't work for me... the best thing is to put your link in your signature and submit to directories... thats where i get my traffic from...

I highly suggest Social Bookmarking..
Specially in Stumble Upon.. because it still works.
Specially when you do it this way.. allow me to share it..
I used to offer it here on DP Services wherein you get ur Website featured on the keyword/tag of your choice..

Say for example your keyword is - "gaming" then it gets featured on SU as
www.stumbleupon.com/tag/gaming

If your website shows up there.. you will surely get traffic.

 

how about doing link or banner exchanges with other gaming sites.....you'll get targeted traffic then.
also there are very few videos there so you way want to add some content before promoting your site.
