Yep, they were still teaching what 2 * 2 was in 6th grade...that's when I decided to try out community college (I transferred to UC Davis from a 2 year college first).

Born and raised in California. :)

With 19 I had an Associate Degree in Entrepreneurship, a bachelors' in Computer Science, and a bachelors in Business Management. :D, I'm not kidding

Ah, yeah, the question: If Newton wouldn't have invented Gravity, would all people float in the air? :p

wow i'm 24..considering doing a BA in sustainable development..the whole exam thing is really putting me off.
it will be external for me if i do ,do it.

btw, I've done the IQ test online with international high IQ society. my iq was 109..after my operation in jan its 119!! ..how on earth i dunno. I wasn't expecting the score to be higher..

when i was around 12 yrs i read Freud and Jung for the fun of it hahaha..

What do you plan to do with your life?

    added; International high iq society
iq of 124+ required to join:eek:..i'm pretty close now..

perhaps IQ can improve contrary to standard thought..

Well, obviously I wasn't able to take classes with kids my own age...but I still had friends my own age and my gf ended up being a college junior who was 16, so things worked out great :D

Here's what I did. I got myself enrolled into homeschooling at 11 so that I could take college units part-time at a CC. At 12 I was able to pass the GED and not have to be home schooled to take college classes. At 14 I transferred from community college to UC Davis, and at 16 I graduated.

Nope, no scholarships at all...and my GPA was decent before I transferred over to a 4 year university (okay, it was 3.3...not all that great). Plus, my family made just enough so that we'd be above the income line for receiving scholarships...but not enough for paying tuition to be easy, lol.

I'm gonna take random shots at some of the Qs:

    "What's my DP password?"

    barney666

    "What's my DP name?"

    Colin!

    "What is my name?"

    Carly Beth

Holy crap man, that is awesome! You have degrees in fields that're very pertinent to the demands of the real world as of right now. You must be making a crapload. :p

Yes, all people would float in the air if Newton felt like playing Nintendo instead of finishing up his gravity project.

Do what you think will benefit yourself in the long term. If you do all the hard work now, you'll thank yourself 10 years later when your success is based off your previous accomplishments.

I'd probably score 95 on that IQ test. I suck at em', haha.

What do I plan to do with my life? Well, I'd really like to run my own web business for a living...I've just started my own site and I'm trying to do some affiliate marketing. If I could make 6 figures from my own website(s) and not have to work a fulltime job, I'd be happy.

...Hey, this is DP. Dreams can happen!

Pretty cool, definitely wish I had started college at 11 or 12 it would have saved a lot of time that was basically wasted in high school. Don't underestimate how valuable that time is, either. College is more fun than high school, too, so I don't think you really missed out on anything.

Abolish high school! Works in a lot of western EU countries... enter vocational or academic training at age 14 and its not quite the same as high school because its either leading to college or a technical field. Generic education to age 18 that doesn't have any marketable skills attached? Not a great investment IMO.

I heard a crazy story from my dad's co-worker. Apparently this guy's 8 yo daughter had her bachelor's degree and was signing up for graduate level classes. Then again they're also international jet-setters who only work because its something to do, so she had access to just about any academic hot-shot or private instructor since she was able to read.

Yup, college was definitely a lot of fun as a teenager. Imagine, you're 14-16 and you're in a class with 20 year old hotties...and in some cases, they have no idea how old you are! Hot :D

An 8 year old with a bachelors degree and is working her grad studies.

    ...

    Blitzing through the questions here:

"arrive at the sum of 8 using only the simplest of functions and 4 number 5s. example: 5+5+5+5=8"

    5 * 5 * 5 * 5 = 8, i swear to god check your calculators

"What's the difference between PHP's print() and echo()"

I dunno, what is the difference? :p

"How come there is evil in a world when there is people who belive in god?"

i think i'll skip this question before i get another infraction...

"When is the Earth first time machine will be invent?"

The first time machine was invented in 2002 along with the AIDs vaccine. Both have been kept secret by the U.S government.

    "Can I use it too?"

Sure, you can use the AIDs vaccine after last night's mishap

Or imagine being in college with 20 year old hotties and you being 20 years old and actually having a chance with them..

I think you may regret doing this so early in your life. I think its great and will definitely help you to succeed in life but I think sometime you will wish you went to college as a 20 year old not 16

I hit it up with a 16 year old girl who was also attending college, that's almost as good, right? :p Plus now that I'm 20, I have no problems meeting other college age girls...catching up on all those years.

I don't regret attending college early at all -- if I could do it all over again, I would have just chosen a major that's more relevant to the real world...business, marketing, etc. College is just a place you attend for a few years to get an education, and that's it IMO. What happens onward is infinitely more important.

Actually, I wasn't in a race to finish college at the earliest age possible. I always took the minimum courseload required to be considered a fulltime student, so I was never over-stressed with work and I always had freetime for recreation.

I've never taken the SATs nor have I needed to. The GED and the material on the SAT would be relatively similar, right?
