http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/15_minutes_of_fame I've been quoted in newspapers, but that's about it. I've never been on TV or in a movie. Have you ever had your 15 minutes of fame? How did it happen? Do you crave it and try to get another "15 minutes"?
I've had a photo in the local newspaper when I was a kid.. had to do with my school collecting money for charity. I was probably 5-6 years old back then.
I was on a reality show about 4 years ago on the discovery channel. It was a tame show where friends and family of someone help them find a relationship. I was a friend. It taught me that "reality" shows are anything but. I remember doing several takes for the same thing.
I've had my opportunities. But decided against it. It would end up like this ...... Local Celebrity Cracks Under Stress Of Local Fame http://www.theonion.com/content/node/38761
I took part in a weekly radio program in our local radio station when I was 13.and my pictures came on several magazine and advertising stuff
TV, Radio, Newspaper, Radio... been in all for so much time... > > > > > > > as a worker, does it count?
Haven't had my 15 minutes yet, I just hope if/when it happens its something positive, a lot of people's 15 minutes seem to happen under bad circumstances, or something humiliating happening to them.
Good point! So, the lesson is; don't go on a killing spree or do anything particularly stupid for your 15 minutes.
I won several spelling bees and went to regionals if that counts. The wall street journal also cited my blog as a source for one of their articles.
