I'm not sure of what you are asking, but the only way you get a link from DMOZ is to have your site accepted for inclusion - and it can take years before your submission is even looked at. Your site also need to have original content and can't be reprints of database articles.

You don't link back to them, if that is what you are asking.

Your site is not listable, it takes less than a minute to prove there is nothing unique about its contents. Save your energy for other ways of promoting it.

It can take months, depending on the editor, after submiting I would forget about it and not worry about it.

It can actually take over 3 years. When I became an editor, there were pending listings that had been waiting that long for someone to look at them - and it wasn't a very large category. It really depends on the category and if an editor is actively editing it. You might have a category with 10 listings showing, but you don't see the few hundred that are waiting for review. Make sure you submit only once, and that it is the right category. If you submit to the wrong category (and a large percentage do) it will get forwarded to that category after it is looked at (which can be years) and the process starts over again.

It can take a day to years, and there isn't any way to speed it up. Too many submissions, not enough editors.

Like? Cleaning up the 100 sitemap links on the bottom of each each category or starting to list actual sites?
