Introduction to Yoga site...new today

Worked on this site for the past couple of days.
Finally got it live on the net today.
Check it out and tell me how it looks, what I should add (nope, do not say adsense or other advertising on the main page), change, etc etc etc
Want to make sure it is ready to go when I start promoting it heavily.

Link on the right, Yoga Resources, takes you to more information on yoga.
I believe I should have something there to tell visitors about what is there.
Any suggestions? Or just leave the link as is?

I would promote one book as the main "sale" and the others as great bonuses! and show more benefits in the order page, convincing ppl to buy, testimonials, why yoga is so good , and something for free to catch emails

and the color blue at the top and bottom , i recomend something lighter

The 3 ebooks are a package really, and priced them already low to sell.
No testimonials yet...but will bug the heck out of people who buy...lol

Working on the email part...have to find a script that works.

Will work more on the order page....maybe basically a rehash of the main page?

right off the bat it looks like one of those one page jobs that annoy me and want to sell me something right off the hop,anyways, remember the most hated phrase in seo "content is king" for example if i searched for how to yoga the first thing i wouldnt want to see is me buying a book on yoga you would need to coax my money out of me for paper when i can print it off online.

I do like the yoga resources though nicely setup and if i wanted to do yoga i would keep reading further.

I absolutely agree. It looks like one of those MLM or Ebook sites that are really spammy. The kind you see when you are a newbie. It looks like a site you would find if you were surfing traffic swarm or a PTR email site.

The only thing it doesn't have is one of those annoying audio recordings.

I would totally redesign the whole thing.

SEX SELLS: Younger and more attactive models are a good deal. Maybe consider changing the photos.

I want to learn yoga from a hot chick that can put her legs behind her head (and lots of other stuff like that) not a thirty something vegetarian high school vice principle type)

Sex sells beer. Why not Yoga?

If you are thirty something and boring and that is your style, great. I know my youthful energetic money won't be going to support anything of that sort.

I wouldn't consider buying it just based on the layout. I can't venture a guess on the kind of person that owns the site, but I don't like it. It's a bad image. It's as cliche as many turn key websites that have people in business clothes pretending to be extremely happy and successful.

 

-I would add a bgcolor to the site, so instead of white, there is another color, preferrably something smooth and suddle, and wont take away from the rest of the page.

-Make the "CLICK TO ORDER" a more attractive link, new font, new color, decoration, etc.
