I was wondering when writing articles to help with keywords and rank, is it better to have.... 5 500 word articles on the site vs 10 250 word articles on the site
Well the goal is the article to be of quality, thats for sure. So 10 250 word articles should be better then 5 500 word articles given the quality of writing and keyword density are all high and relevant?
The more you become specific to the content in short, visitors always would like to read it. And might click on your links and chances of getting traffic may increase.
Well It is very important to maintain quality but with this you should have to maintain quatity also beacuse generally an article is complete only when it has both quality and quantity Do you know that standard article should of max 600 words and minimum 400 words and you should maintain this criteria at any cost unless you are not perfect.
Would an article @ 250 words be viewed as low quality on search engines? For example if it was a blog post with 250 words would google or another search engine rank it lower then a competitor?
It depends how quality the articles are. If you're going to write ten 250 word articles that are of low quality, forget it! Find out what works best for you! Some days you may have more to say than others. Just shoot for quality and you'll be fine. If the article is of good quality, it doesn't matter how long or short it is! Best wishes Andrew Pavelski
If you are talking about article criteria then it should be minimum 400 words but if you are writing 250 words article then it must have quality and uniqueness.
here 1 thing I must want to mention as you know, now a day competition is very high on every filed so write the unique content is very difficult on same product.
