YouTube Now Has High Res Videos Just Add: &fmt=6 or &fmt=18

Use ONE of the following DIRECTLY AFTER the YouTube URL and you will see a hi res version of any video that is available with that option (not all are)

Here are two examples of the quality WITH the f&mt=6 at the end - to see it in default mode, take the &fmt=6 OUT of the URL

• http://youtube.com/watch?v=TrceNI6UUmc&fmt=6

Now there is new FireFox plug in - that takes advantage of this hi res hack.

Yes, its working for a few videos..

 

Not really but it should help youtube bring more traffic in, one of the reason I never really cared for youtube was the quality of the videos.
