30 days doesn't seem very long to offer support for, especially when dealing with 10 sites of reasonable size, this would probably take 3 months to get to grips with. I don't understand why he went into so much detail about his younger brother, and the auction layout looks a lot like the "$$$ ESTABLISHED INTERNET BUSINESS $$$" which sell for $99 on ebay. He also doesn't allow you to view any of his previous auctions he's bought or sold.

But it does look genuine, I wouldn't be interested though as there's too many sites for me (I prefer a small amount of large ones) and they're not in my field.

I think he may talk about his brother because a grade 4 Glioma is a bastad of a brain tumour that you can not operate on and is 100% fatal.
You get major changes in personality ect before death and i would think he is still greaving and decided to move away from his computer and enjoy life to the full.

It's at $1.5k with 7 days left. It will go up a few thousand by the end of the auction.

I didnt wanna win, I just wanted to push the price up. If its legit (I didnt check any of the domains), its worth quite a bit.

What I meant is that if you are a seller and you auction a product on a forum like DP or sitepoint or dn, your site would be scrutinized left right and center by veterans. In other words, you can't sell crab here for thousands of dollars.

In Ebay sky is the limit. :)

If you ask an ebay seller a tough question or something they don't want to answer, they just wont reply because there are others who will bid on it without asking anything. I've had that happen more than few times, usually from the fake pr site sellers.

It is slightly different, but I guess it's up to all potential buyers to do all their homework and ask any pertinent questions.

Ebay has changed their format lately so that a seller can display (or is this default now?) all Q&A's for everyone to see.
