I am very new to online marketing and I am trying to get my first site up and going!! I figure that since I have looked at almost all different programs before finally deciding on earn1kaday.com (good choice if anyone is interested) I would basically build a site with referrals to sites like earn1kaday.com, wealthy affiliates, etc. to get my feet wet. I want to list 5 sites at max and don't want to end up promoting any lame sites that don't give people their bang for their buck. I am open to which sites I should promote. I am also on a a budget do to the bad housing market ( bad timing and don't get into business with family, not worth it!!!) Any suggestions on how to get traffic to the site? I would appreciate any and all comments!
    Thanks everyone,
    Adam

is your site optimized for your targeted keywords? If so, start building links to your site. Post at Web/Article Directories, Social Bookmarks, Signature Links in Forums, Social Bookmarking, etc.

You need text backlinks that use your important keywords. Do some looking around at this forum, and you will learn more about anchor text and how it helps you rank well in the search engines.

OK, I'll admit that I am biased, but I can't recommend Wealthy Affiliate highly enough. I promote it and one of the reasons that I do is because I can do so with a clear conscience. I know that it is a quality training program and that if people apply themselves they will get results. If you are going to link to Wealthy Affiliate from your website however, you have to be a member first. Non-members cannot earn commissions from Wealthy Affiliate referrals.

I would not let the membership fee deter you because after you've earned your first two Wealthy Affiliate referrals, you've made back the money you spend on your membership fee. After that it's all gravy. You just keep building from there on out.

    Best of luck to you!
