Just found this post on Digg...

February 29th - Google Suspends Lots of Small Adsense Accounts?
    http://www.blogspayu.com/drupal/adsensesuspended

It's true ?? I read a few post here on DP about some guys being banned from Adsense. My account was not banned and I earn a few hundred a month

If you account was banned please let us know how much were you earning/month to see if there's a minimum level for an account to not be banned...

I somehow doubt that they will ban all the small accounts. There are many adsense users that never reach the payout limit so that is free money for Google.

It does talk about an automated program. So there you go.
Most publishers would do just about anything to get their CTR up and their clicks without trying really hard to make it big real slow. I guess that would be the issue.

But of course I am just speculating here ...

A few cents a day for a couple of years and suddenly a spike in revenue would draw suspicion.

the new TOS from the adsense program did say if you had not earned at least $xx (it was a pretty small #) in a 3 month period they could cancel your account. sounds like maybe that is what happened. i think its dumb to do that but its not uncommon in the online world.

I earn $10- $15 on daily basis. But i don't think that google will ban you, if you earn a high income.

I doubt they'll ban people just because the publisher's not making much.

You're relying on digg for this! :)

No, I am sure Google will still ban your account even if you earn high income per day.

what's with a statement like this????

its not in google's interest to ban people for no reason...they make a ridiculous amount of $. they don't even notice people making $1 a day. i've yet to hear of someone getting banned that didn't violate the TOS. in the very few instances people are wrongly banned they typically get reinstated later.

it costs google money to maintain an account. millions of adsense account making few pennies a day and not reaching $100 in the entire year is not something google wants. publishers who earn on a regular basis and WILL get a check someday are safer than publishers who earn few pennies a month and no one knows when the $100 total will be.
