Honest opinion about a domain i have..

I've had the domain www.outofdate.net for a month or so now....

when i first got it I was inspired to make a site similiar to Oldversion.com....

but i just...i just think i'm going to come off as a rip-off.

What else do you think I could do with outofdate.net?

I'm stumped.

I want to do something special..

What do you guys suggest?

 

For "outofdate.net" -- how about a nostalgia site? Looking back at the "golden age" of the 1950's, for example - TV, radio, movies, celebrities of the time, etc.

 

Make a site about all the saggy, celebrity skanks that turn up for the opening of an envelope.

 

I think something humorous and outrageous like McFox suggested would be good.

Some of the trendier sites are about celebs, and specifically I know of some sites dealing with bad celebrity plastic surgery. People love to see celebs mocked.

Fill it up with embarassing pictures of past-date celebs trying pathetically to look young.

That's a winning site.

 

If there's any chance you would get sue by their son or daughter ??

 

No. Celebities are public personas and unless you are printing stalker-type paparazzi stuff or private nude shots there wouldn't be any grounds for suits. Besides, their children wouldn't have standing to sue (if the parent is alive).

No idea, it has to be something to do with the olden days I suppose. Not really sure though what it could be.

Couldn't fit much on to the site though.. Meaning there wouldn't be much to put on..

 

I actually wound up making a world of warcraft site community site with it, that is doing REALLY well.
