Web CEO 6.0 is out. It's free as usual.

Just notice my last note in the above post :)

This should tell us something :)

Nice review, and objective. Personally, I wouldn't trust a software when the company is banned.

I used the older version for 1 week but hate the fact that the Angel emails me regularly ( and the software is so-so). So I uninstall it.

But now I would like to try the Link Partner Finder feature but is concern if my site will be banned for using this software.

Can you confirm that WebCEO is definately banned ?

    Ouch!

That's scary! Even if it's free I do not think I'd use it now. Thanks :)

Submit to engines is just a tiny part of webceo.

I use the pro edition to access all the keyword research and ranking / comparison features. Then I dicovered page / site analysis and apllied it to one site and getting nice results. Another feature i'm trying is Hitlens but it has monthly fees after a trial.

I don't use the submiter and I'll give a look at link partner feature even if I think that cnn.com won't aggree to link to me :)

The bad side is that I paid 9% tax on it... so from $385, the chage went around $424.

Softwares that do automatic submissions (without human interventions) are not agreated by search engines, and are considered spam (or the relevant industry term).

Webceo was probably banned (temporarly, because it seems they are back. they probably did a reinclusion request) because they included such a section on their software.

Beeing used on larger scale, with each passing day, the guys at Webceo really became a target for Google :)

    That's all.

webceo 6 is one great piece of software. It's not banned on google. And the free version has features that other similar SEO software charges big bucks for. I bought the professional version, and I couldn't be happier.

I thought the tos is not against the software people use for automatic submission but against the method by itself... so i think you are mistake ;)
