can we make that ? just to make easy for all to know how to do ?

 

Could you explain what kind of DP privacy policy you are wanting?

 

I think he's referring to this paragraph in the new Adsense TOS:

"According to this policy, publishers must notify
their users of the use of cookies and/or web beacons to collect data
in the ad serving process. This change relates to advertisers' use of
innovative products and features like Gadget Ads and other offerings
in the future."

Log Files

Thats a good Privacy Policy, I can't remember which site it was from.

 

It's from tothepc.com.

I have added a couple of lines myself in it to make it Google Adsense Compliant!

 

Can I ask where you would normally put something like this on a blog?

 

You would make a new page called privacy-policy.php (html, or whatever extension you are using) and link to it from every page with adsense on it.

Anyone using adsense ads is now required by adsense TOS to have a privacy policy. See the post above.

 

Great example of a privacy policy there FanAddict - I bet the big G loves all the duplications of it around the net Although the policy is really for user-convenience/legal issues, not for SE's

It's google adsense that is collecting data to serve ads, and they want that known.

Might not be a wise idea to diss the company that give you money for bread and butter. Although I do quite like it
