i don't know why it happens... i really don't. It has been PR6 for a long long time...

I have no problem with that if i can move the money to my bank account (Portugal) or PP account after the transaction (i never used a escrow and don't know how they will pay me), buyer will pay the fees.

Hey man. I have used this and it returned a "not valid" result.
I got suspicious and checked in as many other sites as I could.
They all returned that the PR is faked, except for some of them that returned the message that the PR validation is not working at this time.

The most curious thing is that most sites also referred this thread's URL as the site's URL. Don't know what to say. Either this guy is doing some kind of work I have never seen before, or there has been a general problem regarding PR.

The seologs.com tool seems to be showing the PR as valid at this time.....
But then again I can see this: http://www.iwebtool.com/visual/?domain=www.thefreewebsite.net&nofw=1&ex=1

iwebtool shows that all internal pages have PR 0 while the toolbar shows a PR 5 for the first level inner pages (most of them at least).

I would like to know what really happens so that I can bid here.

dsakella i'm not cheating anyone and i did nothing to the PR - my knowledge on that is 0!!

It's a google problem? its a domain problem? its somethinhg else? I really don't know. and my bad that i can't help on this one.

Things seem to be OK now apart from the inner pages PR which seem to be PR 5 according to the toolbar but PR 0 according to the iwebtool "visual pagerank".

So I'll bid according to the traffic and the site besides PR (which is not something important to me anyway).
