Based upon what I'm seeing and hearing, Obama is going to win Texas easily. Folks around here don't like the Clintons too much. A lot of Repubs are planning to vote in the Dem primary (against HRC) since they think McCain has already won the Rep nomination.

I highly doubt RP will enter as an independent.

I'm for a new party. Real Republicans, the SGOP (Super Grand Old Party). Kind of like the Super Friends. All you need is 10% of the vote, and you become something powerful. Even less, really. Then you can dictate what you want. In so doing, you have leverage over the Republicans or the Democrats

Ron Paul's evil twin has just announced that he will run for President as an Independent.

Now we have matching bookends on the left and the right.

It's amusing as hell to consider that the two fringe candidates have so much in common.

This race just keeps getting more hilarious. :D

Thanks for the unrelated and completely irrelevant update on Nader though...

Will has mastered unrelated and irrelevant posting.

Nader has little in common with Ron Paul. Ralph's a left liberal who preaches more government intervention, instead of free market capitalism. The only place their might cross paths are on foreign policy.

Ron Paul has more in common with Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel than he does with Ralph Nader.

I predict someone uses this disparagingly against Ron Paul trying to paint him as a "liberal"

    But of course!

I voted for Ron Paul twice! lol.

Looks like Peden (the challenger for CD-14) was soundly slapped across the face (figuratively).
