yes I know, half of the data centers still show pr 2. The rest is pr 4.

 

Hence do not rely on every Google PR DC center update. Refer to many and wait atleast 1 to 2 weeks before publiclly telling others that your site has mvoe up. Be patient and do research and use many website tools and not just refer to one to make a claim or statement of moving up in the PR world.

One can lose PR as quickly as gaining PR as well. Dont be so quick to state your PR until 75 % sure.

 

Still nothing changes just less backlinks, i.e., bad sign.

Many webmasters swear to one website that provides PR update as relance vs doing a search on several websites for a PR update. Especially when a PR update isnt usual with a 3 month plus span.

Anything is unsual and not typical considering that all PR updates are 3 months=. So anything that is whitin the last 6 weeks are quite unusual and strange. So what it comes back to is what is your point.

Considring that all Google PR udpates are 3 to 6 months historically.

What is your point really? Ther is no substanial PR update prior to a 3 month update. So anything prior than that is just hype and posting a panic thread to create some sort of PR adsense relevace in a adsense sharing forum such as DP. Money, Greed and panic to draw a few extra cents to their adsense accounts.

Is there anyone still trying to deny something changed today and last night? Sites with no previous ranking now show solid rankings. Some sites have dropped, others have increased. Many of us have reported large backlink increases.

My total guess is that those already seeing PR updates are those that can use the link: and see the new #s reflected.

I am seeing PR updates to my newish sites that didn't receive any toolbar PR in the last update. e.g. http://forextradings.com.au - Blog up since Oct 07. Showing for me now PR6. Some of my other more established blogs have seen a decrease in PR. All my established sites (over 2 years) showing no PR changes. Again just another PR curve ball update to confuse tool bar PR even more.

 

All the PR changes for my sites are now back to where they started from before the "update". If I was looking right now at the PR changes for the first times, I'd say there was no update.

 

So it pretty much depends on the PR updates. And for those who have gone through updates. Updates can take anywhere between 1 day to like 3 weeks. No relevance to order to age or subject. And the last real update was about 4 to 6 weeks ago. Its just on the verge. Things can change in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Be patient and ride google out.

False, just because you have only seen a couple of PR updates in your life please don't try and tell people who owned 30 odd websites back in the 02/03 period when the first ever public export occurred what has and hasn't happened. "Historically" as you put it, there's been more exports under 3 months like this than over 3 months.

I didn't create this thread, actually a rarely ever create threads.

Ok i will summarize my post for you considering you are completely incapable of understanding it.

Situation:

A number of Google datacenters are showing new Pagerank values. Yes these values are new because 100's of sites are displaying a Pagerank they have never obtained before.

Problem:

When loading pages with the Google Toolbar, it "fetches" the Pagerank value from any one of the 100's of datacenters. This is causing people to have different values for the same URL. People want to know what the new PR values are on URL xyz.com

Solution:

You can modify your Windows HOSTS file to obtain the PR value from a single IP instead of fetching it from anywhere.

Conclusion:

This allows people to browse their websites without having a fluxing PR toolbar value, and they "know" they are viewing the new value because it's not being fetched from anywhere causing confusion.

Really i can't put it any simpler than that for you, seems everyone else understands so i suggest some light reading about datacenters, toolbarqueries , updates and data pushes.

 

Ok Sweet Funny you need to do more research on Google Updates. Google Updates are 3 to 6 month updates unless you can prove me wrong in a usual update. Otherwise your just barking with no bite.

Anyway, today one of my blog about celebrity has PR1 and the other about humor has PR2 (this is directly jump to PR2).

But more traffic comes from PR1 (around 300 UV a day).

 

All DC show PR2 or 0 but toolbarquaries.google.com shows 4. And only SEOMOZ pr checker shows 4, other checks show 2 or 0...
