I have a site that averages like $5/daily with clicks but on the reports it says page eCPM $23. Does this mean I would earn more if I were to switch over to eCPM, if so, how do I switch over? thanks Pinky
eCPM stands for "effective cost-per-thousand impressions" It is an estimation of how much your site, or page, would earn per 1000 impressions.
yeah I read that, but can I switch to charging with the eCPM method? if I did, would I earn $23/day? tks
There is nothing to switch to. The number is just to give you an estimate of how much your site or page will earn for every 1000 impressions it gets. In other words if your eCPM is 23.00 it means that if your site or page got 1000 visitors per day you would earn around 23.00 if you got 2000 you would earn around 46.00. JUst remember it is not an exact number, it is just an estimate
No problem at all. You should also know that the lower your actual impressions are the more inaccurate the eCPM will be
