AdSense Click Fraud in India - How The Whole System Works By Amit at Digital Inspiration Wed, Feb 27 2008
I reported (or rather I TRIED to report) a similar method that I had uncovered to Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) way back in May of 2007. They were totally uninterested in even examining my data. That is why I would never spend one penny on YPN ads. If they are not interested in knowing the ways people cheat their network then there click fraud has to be the highest in the industry.
I have seen similar advertisements in papers like mumbai mirror, HT classifields, Mid-day almost all newspapers. And mostly its the same advertisements that are repeated.
Isn't YPN after USA traffic only? As such any click fraud from India wouldn't result in payment - maybe I am missing something here?
Yaa this is right that some internet expert advertising in New Papers and tell people about this.. But this is wrong way to make money.. Dilpreet
yeah you are correct, and this is affecting other indian honest publishers. Like google has stopped considering indian adsense referrals
Very true.. What they dont understand is that you can make more money by playing it the right way instead of indulging yourself in fraudulent activities.
These people dont know what they do!! I am also an Indian and I feel really bad...The very concept of advertising dies out....Really bad
fraud is fact , google is big fraud if they cant stop that fraudulent activities if adsense stop in india , i shame on that company couldn't find click fraud from a silly Indian guy BTW i don't think anyone can stole cash from googles advertising system its all depends upon ROI , page views , daily IP Tracking ...etc
Very sad to hear people clicking on their own ads or doing click fraud in other ways. Very sad indeed.
Nice post Minstrel.. did not read his blog today. @amitpagarwal Its sad to see those people playing the system.. doesnt matter what country they are from..
I am not in the least bit shocked. Since 2004 I have taken part in several ventures where the people who take part in it all earn a bit of money until Indian people get too greedy and try to abuse the system and it all goes tits up. It will not be long before these blog review networks suffer the same fate.
