Just received an infraction (i didn't deserve)

    It just come into my attention that a thread complaining about infraction is an infraction itself. So i updated this.

    I want to talk to you about infraction in general. I got an infraction now what could I do next? I mean is there a way to dispute an infraction (not to complain but to whom can I talk about this)

    Anyway what is the best solution to avoid getting infractions when trying to help other members from the community ?

    Hy.. I replied to a thread here on dp to someone that asked for software recommendations (a similar software to what he needed).

    So I put out a link to a thread I started in dp (it wasn't even external) and it was exactly what the thread was about. I just received a spamming infraction 5 points . This isn't fair in my oppinion. I guess I see how it could be interpreted wrong since it was a link to my thread but it was a suggestion exactly what the thread starter asked. Should I be getting infraction for answering and trying to help ??

    Bottom line I am not complaining I want to hear the general view on this and how to be a better and helpfull member than I am.
