Install the google toolbar and you should see your PR. You can also try the search status extension for firefox, if your a firefox user.

    Yup,

Firefox has all the moves like a slick slappin' Michael Jackson (before he became weird, you know, setting his hair alight, losing his glove, his nose etc..). Moonwalking in the moonlight. IE behaves like a rusty old dorknob, you never know if it's going to open the door or fall off into your hand and left with nothing. Not that I have anything against Microsoft. NO! No! No! They make great keyboards and mice!!

Will the page rank update ever end? I talked to a webmaster today who thinks it will go one. How long does this process normally take?

Normal is 24 - 48 hours... of late, it never makes it across all d/c's.

    What does that tell you?

It tells me we're either WAY past overdue, or the update is done. If it is done, that means Google has screwed me and it appears only ONE of my sites got any PR, despite months of builing quality links for all my sites.

That is what that tells me...........

It should trickle down eventually, but you may have to wait for the next pr update...

It tells me Google is broken, and may not be fixed.

I used Ask today, after reading a post about the butler getting dumped. I could not find some hardware info I needed in Google. MFA sites is what I mostly found. I like what I saw on Ask.

I think that Google is broke.

The good news is that I'm finally seeing pr for the category pages of my directory. The bad news is that my homepage hasn't gone up. Now the weird thing is that the only backlinks that my category pages have are from the index. Yet they all have the same pr with the index. Now I know that it isn't passing a PR3 to over 50 links. So my index pr is higher than it shows or there's something funny going on.
